Age of Injury (AOI)

This powerful claims management tool brings clarity to injury timeline and causality, helping providers make faster, more confident decisions. In an AOI report, an independent radiologist reviews the diagnostic images and interpretation to determine the specific timeframe of an injury, shedding light on whether the injury may be pre-existing or caused by a workplace incident.

This program aligns clinical and claims partners with injured workers to establish a recovery-focused, evidence-based treatment plan. AOI supports appropriate care, lowers impairment ratings, shortens time to surgery and reduces claim duration.
