In 2007, Billy Parker lost both of his arms above the elbow in a workplace accident. His road to recovery was long, but with the help of innovative prosthetics and a consistent, dedicated team – including Summit, One Call, and Hanger Clinic – today, Billy is thriving.

Billy has turned his workplace injury into an opportunity to help others. He started his own company, Lending A Hand, LLC, in which he spends his days as a safety advocate, traveling around the country to factories, plants, and other manufacturing facilities to talk with employees about the importance of workplace safety.

In his personal life, Billy is doing all the things he used to do prior to his injury. He uses his body-powered and myoelectric prosthetics to perform daily tasks – such as getting dressed, cooking, doing yard work, and putting gas in his truck. He demonstrates how to perform these tasks on his YouTube channel to help and encourage other amputees in the same position.

Hear the story of his inspiring journey and discover how his dedicated team continually works together to help him overcome obstacles and support his ongoing needs.

Billy P demonstrates daily tasks such as cutting potatoes on his YouTube channel to inspire other amputees.
